Terms & Conditions

At Operation Canine & Company, we are committed to protecting the privacy of both our human clients and their canine companions. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.

Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in any training program, class, or service with Operation Canine & Co., you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, productive, and transparent environment for both the handler and the dog.

Evaluation & Program Placement

All clients are required to complete a formal Discovery Call and Evaluation prior to purchasing a session, class, or package. This allows our team to ensure proper program placement and develop a plan tailored to your dog’s specific needs.

Travel Fees

For all in-home training sessions, a travel fee of $0.67 per mile will be applied. Exact pricing for travel will be confirmed during your initial consultation.

Vaccinations & Health

To ensure the safety of all participants, dogs must be up-to-date on core vaccinations (Rabies and DHPP). Dogs must be free of contagious illnesses, parasites, and open sores. If your dog has a known history of aggression, you must disclose this during the evaluation so we can discuss appropriate safety protocols and specialized training options.

Owner Commitment & Practice

You acknowledge that dog training is a collaborative effort. To achieve the goals outlined in your program, owners are expected to follow "homework" assignments, typically involving 15–30 minutes of practice several times per day. Operation Canine & Co. provides the coaching and tools, but long-term results depend on owner consistency and follow-through.

Service Dog & Task Work

While our head trainer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and can provide professional guidance and approval for specific tasks, successful completion of a task-work program does not automatically guarantee public access rights, which are subject to local laws and the dog’s ongoing behavior.

Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure a safe training environment, the owner remains legally responsible for their dog’s actions at all times. Operation Canine & Co. is not liable for any injury or damage caused by the dog during or after the training period.
